The Amazing Martin Luther King Jr.

Filed Under (Uncategorized) by mrssmits on 23-01-2009

On Monday we celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day. That made me think about all the things I did and didn’t know about him. I knew he was born on January 15, 1929. I also knew that he made his speech on August 28, 1963. Plus, I knew he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964 for his peaceful nonviolent work in the Civil Rights Movement. He was also the youngest to win it. I also know unfortunally he was assasinated on April 4, 1968. I also wrote an I Have a Dream Speech but it won’t be as famous as Dr. King’s. Just click below to hear it.
